PCD-polycrystalline diamond compact for cutting

The polycrystalline diamond compact for Wode cutting tools is composed of polycrystalline diamond layer and cemented carbide substrate. It is sintered by using selected diamond particles and cemented carbide through high temperature and high pressure process. Polycrystalline diamond (PCD) compact has high hardness, high wear resistance, high thermal conductivity, low friction coefficient, low thermal expansion coefficient and other superior properties, but also has good strength and toughness of cemented carbide. Therefore, it can be cut into the required cutter head, the cutter head is welded on the cutter body, and the PCD cutter is made by sharpening. It is widely used in the processing of non-ferrous metals such as copper, aluminum, aluminum alloy and their alloys, and the processing of non-metallic materials such as wood, reinforced flooring, ceramics, plastics, CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastic), rubber, etc. It can also be used in the manufacture of measuring instruments, wear-resistant materials for guiding or supporting tools.
